Battery care
Safe chemistry LiMN means reduced risk of venting with flame or explosion. Due to the safety inherent in IMR safe chemistry batteries there is no protection circuitry added or built in. This provides a slightly shorter battery length to enable a good fit in most mods. To ensure longevity, it is not recommended to allow the battery to discharge below 2.5V. Please note that due to their inherent safety, IMR cells don’t have a protection circuit built in. They should never be discharged below 2.5 volts or cycle life/performance will be reduced. Maximum charge voltage is 4.25 volts. These IMR cells have much lower internal resistance than regular LiIon 3.7V cells and they may end up with a higher ending voltage when charged in certain chargers. Please check the voltage of your IMR battery right out of the charger to see if they are above 4.20V when fully charged with your charger. You can do this with a multimeter, Overcharging above 4.25V may shorten life/cycles, Above 4.50V may even damage them. DO NOT use the charger if it is overcharging IMR cells.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS
IMR and Li-ion batteries are volatile.
Failure to read and follow the below instructions may result in fire, personal injury and damage to property if charged or used improperly.
By purchasing, the buyer assumes all risks associated with batteries. If you do not agree with these conditions, please do not buy or use our batteries
When charging Battery Pack, please put battery in a fireproof container. Please don’t leave battery pack and charger on wood, Carpet or upholstery unattended. Keep battery away from children. Never make wrong polarity connection when charging and discharging battery packs.
Lithium batteries has it’s cycle life, please replace old battery with new one when it reaches it’s service life or when it is two year old, whichever comes first.
General Guidelines and Warnings
Use proper charger for Battery, Failure to do so may a cause fire, which may result in personal injury and property damage. Never charge batteries unattended. If at any time you witness a battery starting to balloon, swell up, smoke or getting hot, discontinue charging process or use immediately, disconnect the battery and observe it in a safe place for approximately 15 minutes.
Do not discharge battery to a level below 3V per cell .Deep discharge below 3V per cell can deteriorate battery performance.
Wire lead shorts can cause fire! If you accidentally short the wires, or Drop the battery it must be placed in a safe area for observation for approximately 15 minutes.
Never disassemble battery
Never drop the batteries.
Do not charge batterie packs in series
Storage & Transportation
1) Store battery at room temperature between 5°C / 40°F to 25°C / 80°F for best results.
2) Do not expose battery pack to direct sunlight (heat) for extended periods.
3) Always Transport Batteries in Battery Case or non conductive bag, Keys, Change and other conductive materials may cause a short or fire if battery is not properly protected.
4) Storing battery at temperatures greater than 70°C / 170°F degrees for extended periods of time (more than 2 hours) may cause damage to battery and possible fire.
